Biography:
Shane is from Macungie, PA, which is approximately 20 minutes southwest of Allentown. His primary concentration is in severe weather forecasting and meteorological research. Shane and Ryan are student leads on the TILTTING project and are lined up to take on the role in NASA's IMPACTS Project for next year. Additionally, he is the treasurer of both club baseball and club softball at Millersville, son of Bobby Martrich (Chief Meteorologist) of EPAWA Weather Consulting, and enjoys hikes with friends.
While completing this project, Shane is in charge of planning and project management with fellow co-lead Ryan Argenti. Shane also has led the research for the project proposal and will be launching the TILTTING-23 probe, and keeping track of data inflow from the tornado. Similarly to Ryan, Shane also has extensive experience with the Windsond interface and will help to lead and facilitate the Windsond deployment operations in the field. When the field research is complete Shane and Ryan with the help of Cameron Gonteski and the Data Analysis team, will complete the data analysis for this project.
