    • Concentration in aviation meteorology, and Environmental Hazards & Emergency Management

  • Member of Campus Weather Service (CWS), two total semesters in CWS

  • Research assistant in NASA's IMPACTS Project (Investigation of Microphysics and Precipitation for Atlantic Coast-Threatening Snowstorms), 2021-2022

  • Student Assistant for the 2022 American Meteorological Society (AMS) National Conference

  • Member of Millersville University's American Meteorological Society Student Chapter (MU-AMS)

  • Member of Millersville University's Club Baseball

Biography:

John is from Mount Laurel, New Jersey, which is about 20 minutes northeast of Philadelphia. He has always enjoyed observing severe storms and learning about what causes them. John also has his pilots license and would like to pursue a career in that field. Outside of meteorology John plays club baseball at Millersville University. Additionally he enjoys playing and watching sports, specifically the Pittsburgh Steelers.

As a member of the TILTTING project, John will be launching the TILTTING-23 drone, and keeping track of surface shear contours from the inflow of the tornado.
