Biography:
Alex is from Long Valley, NJ. He is involved in meteorology research, and with Millersville’s Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society. In 2021, through the NCAR Earth System Science Internship program (NESSI), he completed an internship at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) studying atmospheric rivers and climate change. Alongside a talented group of peers and mentors, Alex is currently involved with a project that is seeking to understand Millersville University’s levels of preparedness during times of high-impact weather events. In his free time, Alex enjoys hiking, gardening, baking, making music, reading, and playing with his two dogs.
As a member of the TILTTING Project, Alex will be an alternate on the Chase Team, as well as helping launch Windsonds with team members, finding target areas for chases, editing and updating the proposal, and reviewing and analyzing datasets.
